MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) - There exists no other bright, benevolent, beloved, and loving land for us in this world besides Belarus, Belarusian President and Chairman of the Belarusian People’s Congress Aleksandr Lukashenko said, summarizing the results of the second session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress on 19 December, BelTA has learned.
“We must fight for unity, for cohesion. We need to understand that for us and for our children, there is no other bright, benevolent, beloved, and loving land for us in this world besides Belarus,” the head of state emphasized. “I deeply want people to see our Belarus as that kind of land: a place you can always return to from a far-off duty for this country, a warm and welcoming home, no matter what happens. We need to stay united and cohesive.”
