Lukashenko: Belarus is looking forward to Xi Jinping’s visit

MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – We are working to arrange a visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Minsk, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming on 24 March, BelTA has learned.

Addressing the ambassador, Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Will you please tell my friend, Chinese President Xi Jinping, that Belarus is looking forward to his visit.” According to the president, the parties are working out the possibilities to arrange a visit at the highest level. “We still have time to get prepared and fill the agenda with the content which is important for the two countries,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
