Linkevicius: Suspension of Belarus sanctions is a chance to consolidate progress in relations

MINSK, 12 November (BelTA) – The suspension of sanctions against Belarus is a chance to consolidate the progress in the relations, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevicius told journalists on 12 November, BelTA has learned.

In his words, the lifting of Belarus sanctions is “a chance, an opportunity to consolidate all the positive achievements we have made together and to look towards the future instead of focusing on the past.”

As the sanctions are suspended, we need to consolidate the positive practices. “This is what we want and will be aspiring for,” Linas Linkevicius stressed.
