Kochanova: Belarus’ state policy is aimed at improving people’s quality of life

MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) - The policy pursued by the state is aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of its citizens, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova said during the session of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the eighth convocation on 12 February, BelTA has learned.

“It should be noted that the policy pursued by our state is aimed at improving the welfare and quality of life of our citizens. In recent years, a lot has been done to create a comfortable environment that promotes the development of large and small settlements, improvement of infrastructure. We have something to be proud of!” said Natalya Kochanova.

Initiatives have been implemented to landscape public places and adjacent territories. “People's lives have become more comfortable and safer,” the speaker said.

The theme of the session of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic is the role of the deputy corps in the implementation of the landscaping tasks set by the head of state. Attending the session were members of the Presidium of the Council of the Republic, members of the Council of the Republic, chairpersons of local councils of deputies of regional, Minsk city and basic territorial levels from all regions of the Republic of Belarus.
