Kobyakov: Complementary economies of Belarus, Moldova invigorate cooperation

CHISINAU, 3 October (BelTA) – Complementary economies of Belarus, Moldova invigorate bilateral cooperation, Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov told reporters on 2 October, BelTA has learned.

“Our economies are complementary. We do not compete in any fields. It invigorates our cooperation,” Andrei Kobyakov remarked.

Belarus and Moldova have always maintained friendly and sincere relations. “As far as trade and economy and concerned, we maintain partnership without a hidden agenda. When our countries faced difficulties, we always found an opportunity to help each other. If there were any problems, we found right and mutually beneficial solutions,” Andrei Kobyakov said.

In his words, the meeting with Moldova Prime Minister Pavel Filip focused on the concrete measures to bolster trade and economic cooperation. “It seemed that we were talking to not just partners, but to good friends. I am convinced that we will find new areas for growth, new cooperation avenues. Out visit is expected to help Belarusian and Moldovan people feel an improvement. Belarus will do its best to make it happen,” the Prime Minister concluded.

Andrei Kobyakov is staying in Moldova on 2-3 October.
