Kobyakov: Belarus interested in cooperation with ICL

MINSK, 14 July (BelTA) - Belarus is interested in developing cooperation with Israel Chemicals Limited (ICL), Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov said as he met with President and Executive Director of the Israeli company Stefan Borgas, BelTA has learned.

Today ICL is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of products based on unique minerals. "For us chemical fertilizer (especially potassium) is one of the key industries in the country's economy. Therefore it would be interesting for us to compare notes and explore the possibilities for mutual partnership with this respected global company," said the head of government.

The Prime Minister noted that Belarus views Israel as one of the promising trading and economic partners. The trade between the two countries has been growing, but its level does not yet match the potential of the two countries, he said.
