MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – President of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) Janez Kocijancic spoke at the General Assembly of the Association of the National Olympic Committees (ANOC) in Doha, hailing the 2nd European Games in Minsk as a sport milestone of the year, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian National Olympic Committee.

“The 2nd European Games in Minsk were organized a great deal better than anybody expected and we can be proud of this achievement. Each continent has its large-scale sport forum which should be better integrated into the Olympic framework,” the EOC head said.
