Dodon: Most Moldovans admire living standards in Belarus

CHISINAU, 18 April (BelTA) – The majority of Moldovans admire the living standards in Belarus, Moldova President Igor Dodon said in an interview with BelTA.

“I am confident that the majority of Moldovans would like to live like Belarusians. Belarus is criticized by some in Europe, some other states. But Belarus has surpassed many countries in terms of the quality of life. Your country has preserved many good things from the Soviet Union and made new achievements,” said Igor Dodon.

He said he cited the Doing Business rankings on many occasions. Belarus ranks much higher than Moldova “that has been carrying out some unclear European reforms.”
