MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) - Czechia praises Belarus’ balanced policy in relation to its trade partners in the European region, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the meeting of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Valery Kurdyukov with Czhech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mladek.

“The minister praised Belarus’ positive and balanced policy in relation to its trade partners in the European region, spoke about Czechia’s support of the economic cooperation with Belarus at the national level and the level of regions,” the press release of the press service reads.

The participants of the meeting agreed to continue holding seminars for business circles, join efforts to organize traditional business days of Belarus at the international engineering fair in Brno, the representatives of the press service added.

Apart from that, the sides discussed the results of the bilateral economic cooperation between the two countries, global and economic factors having an impact on the bilateral trade, preparations for the eighth session of the Belarusian-Czech joint commission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation.
