MINSK, 10 July (BelTA) – The contribution of the domestic diplomacy to peace and stability in Belarus are invaluable. The opinion was voiced by Deputy Chairwoman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (FTUB) Yelena Mankevich as representatives of the FTUB, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions abroad visited the WWII memorial Glory Mound, BelTA has learned.

Yelena Mankevich said: “Accomplishments of the domestic diplomacy in maintaining peace and stability in Belarus and in enhancing friendly ties with other countries are invaluable. It is particularly important today when the situation in the world is unfortunately not calm.”

The Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus has established partnership with 58 trade union organizations from 36 countries. “We strongly hope that after returning from Minsk to their designated countries Belarusian diplomats will continue their noble work aimed at developing our international interaction endeavors,” concluded Yelena Mankevich.

An annual seminar for heads of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of Belarus is scheduled to take place in Minsk on 8-17 July. The seminar is dedicated to the main avenues of operation of the diplomatic institutions in modern conditions.
