Chinese writer impressed with variety of books on display at Minsk book fair

MINSK, 8 February (BelTA) – I am impressed with the broad variety of books on display and the big number of participant countries at the Minsk International Book Fair, Chinese writer Shi Yifeng told BelTA as he attended the international forum as part of a Chinese delegation.

Shi Yifeng emphasized that the Chinese stand showcases his books. He said that he plans to present some of them to visitors to the book fair. The writer believes that such events help spread knowledge about the literature of foreign countries. He was favorably impressed with the quality of the books published in Belarus.

Shi Yifeng also shared his impressions of his first visit to Minsk: “The city is very beautiful, the air is clean, and everything is in order.”

The 24th Minsk International Book Fair will run through 12 February.
