Buzovsky: Year of Culture will give Belarusians energy and imagination for overall development

MINSK, 12 January (BelTA) – The Year of Culture will give Belarusians imagination and energy for the development of other spheres of activity, Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration Igor Buzovsky told BelTA.

“The Year of Culture will give our country and people that live on this land new ideas, imagination, energy and stamina that will help develop the economic, political and social areas. This is what will help us accumulate knowledge and strength at the spiritual and moral level,” said Igor Buzovsky.

In his words, the Year of Culture does not mean only the celebration of important dates, birthdays of outstanding persons and the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage. The year will also envisage events aimed at the development of the individual, the revaluation of priorities in life. “Belarus is a young state. Despite the fact that we occupy an important position in the political arena, develop our economy, we need to continue the formation of our spiritual heritage which we will further hand over to our descendants. Spiritual heritage is our value and great asset,” Igor Buzovsky is confident.
