Buzovsky: The government hopes for more initiatives from the youth

VOLOZHIN DISTRICT, 26 August (BelTA) – The government hopes that the youth will continue its leadership role, Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration Igor Buzovsky said during the official opening ceremony of the nationwide festival for the working youth Olympia 2016 on 26 August, BelTA has learned.

Igor Buzovsky noted that a lot of state figures, representatives of different ministries and agencies came to the opening of the festival. “This is the attention which is paid to the youth in Belarus, this is the hope for more initiatives from you,” Igor Buzovsky said.

In his words, the support of young people remains one of the priorities in the country’s social and economic development. “This is an achievement of the Year of the Youth among other things. This is an achievement of those who implemented all the projects during the Year of the Youth,” Igor Buzovsky stressed and expressed hope that the youth will be able to multiply their achievements.

The Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration also noted that the focus on the youth brings results in various spheres. “The focus on young people in Belarus justifies itself. It shows that there are concrete results in the youth and social policy, sport and the education system,” said Igor Buzovsky.
