MINSK, 23 June (BelTA) – Belarusian military training has proven its effectiveness and has been recognized abroad. Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov made the statement during the graduation ceremony of students of the General Staff Department and the Command and Staff Department of the Military Academy of Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The defense minister said that the national military school develops vigorously and is sufficient for training personnel for all tiers of the national military security system. The Belarusian military school has been recognized internationally as effective.

The defense minister mentioned that officers of the Kazakh army were in the ranks of the graduates on 23 June. The fact testifies to the effective cooperation between the brotherly nations and justifies Belarus’ multiple-vector foreign policy.

The graduates have received modern military education. “You will be the ones to master all the modern and cutting-edge things that our army has. You will be the ones to build up the power of the Belarusian army, to tackle complicated and responsible tasks in the course of improving combat readiness of army units, training standards of military administration bodies, and combat performance of army personnel,” stressed Andrei Ravkov.

Belarusian military training internationally recognized as effectiveAccording to the source, officer training is a continuous process. Self-education has always been the primary form of training. “A Military Academy graduate is always a patriot and a statesman. You should pursue the state policy with confidence all the time. Teach your subordinates to protect national interests the way Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko does it, the way Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev does it,” said the Belarusian defense minister in conclusion of his speech.
