MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) - Belarus calls for more active support on the part of the operational agencies of the United Nations development system towards the efforts of the member countries in the field of development, Belarusian Deputy Foreign Minister Valentin Rybakov said when speaking at the general debate of the Economic and Financial Committee (Second Committee) of the General Assembly of the United Nations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

In that connection, it was suggested to consider the establishment of an intergovernmental agency on financing the development to coordinate decisions on financial matters of the future agenda for development.
