Belarus seen as integral part of European, Eurasian integration processes

MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Belarus should be an integral part of European and Eurasian integration processes. Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei made the statement after meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg Jean Asselborn on 14 September, BelTA has learned.

Vladimir Makei said: “Belarus is located in Europe and is a European country. I believe that we should be an integral part of European and Eurasian integration processes. If there are any problems between friends, we should discuss these problems. This is why we are intent on building relations with the European Union via the constructive dialogue of equals that has taken shape and exists now.”

The Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs remarked that all the problematic issues that may emerge on the way of Belarusian-European cooperation, will be resolved.
