Belarus president urges to clean up all district capitals

RECHITSA, 11 April (BelTA) – It is needed to clean up all district capitals and small towns in the country, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with the personnel of OAO Rechitsadrev on 11 April, BelTA has learned.

After a helicopter flight over Rechitsa District and a car ride around the town the President said he was satisfied with what he saw. “Rechitsa is a clean town, it is good,” the head of state said. He also assumed that if he decided to visit all district capitals they would be cleaned up very quickly.

Speaking about the beautification of towns and the personal responsibility of all people for what is going on in their native place, Alexander Lukashenko said that every person can make a contribution to turning their town into a beautiful and well-kept place.

During his conversation with the workers of the enterprise the head of state praised all the changes and expressed confidence that the enterprise has good development prospects.
