Belarus President expresses condolences over passing of Vladimir Zeldin

MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the family and friends of People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Zeldin, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that a talented and very popular actor, sincere and charismatic person passed away. “Vladimir Mikhailovich [Zeldin] lived an eventful creative life and left a bright mark in the history of the Soviet and Russian theater and cinema,” the message of condolences reads. “Thanks to his natural dignity, professionalism and unique acting skills Vladimir Zeldin played many wonderful roles which have become an example high art. People in Belarus like and appreciate the creative work of Vladimir Zeldin.”

“Blessed memory of this great actor and wonderful person will be with us forever,” the President stressed.
