Belarus’ legal research center praised for contribution to legislation development

MINSK, 3 November (BelTA) – The National Center of Legislation and Legal Research (NCLLR) has made a big contribution to the formation and development of the national legal system, the message of greetings from Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the NCLLR reads. It was read out by Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Valery Mitskevich, BelTA informs.

The organization plays a leading role in law making activities in Belarus and has a good authority among other public bodies involved in this process, the message of greetings reads.

“The center has made a big contribution to the formation and development of the national legal system, improvement of legislation in all walks of life, formation of high legal culture in the society, protecting the rights and legal interests of people and organizations,” Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.

The scientific research of the center is aimed at promoting the social, economic, and political development of the country. The center is working out the high-quality legal framework meeting the expectations of the society and people’s needs, the head of state added.

The president expressed confidence that the personnel of the center will successfully fulfill its goals. He wished the workers of the center wellbeing and success in work for the benefit of the Belarusian nation.

Valery Mitskevich presented medals for excellent labor, letters of commendation from the president, and an honorary certificate of the Belarus President Administration to the workers of the center.

The center also received greetings from representatives of government bodies, international organizations, MPs.
