MINSK, 31 October (BelTA) – Belarus is gradually becoming the venue of choice for holding complicated negations, BelTA learned from Rainer Lindner, founder and chairman of the Minsk Forum, Schaeffler AG CEO for Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

A meeting of the Core Group of the Munich Security Conference is in progress in Minsk. According to Rainer Lindner, the conference is an important traditional platform for international dialogue. “I think it was the right decision to invite many foreign politicians and experts to attend the meeting. It is an important event for Belarus because the country will once again be a platform for dialogue,” he said.

The Munich Security Conference is one of the world’s most representative and authoritative forums in the area of security policy and military cooperation. It is the first time Belarus has hosted such a large-scale international forum.
