SMOLEVICHI DISTRICT, 26 November (BelTA) – At least 30 enterprises will operate in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone by the end of 2020, BelTA learned from Head of the Industrial Park Administration Aleksandr Yaroshenko on 26 November.

The official said: “At present 17 companies residing in the park are starting their commercial activities. Six of them are busy making mechanical engineering and electronics products. The number of such enterprises will be at least 20 by the end of this year. Their number should be 30 next year.”

Aleksandr Yaroshenko also reminded that the industrial park had been tasked with raising the number of resident companies up to 60 by the end of 2019. The task has been fulfilled. The family of the resident companies grew larger with OOO Hess Great Stone, a daughter enterprise of the Swiss company Carrosserie HESS AG, on 26 November. The daughter enterprise intends to make electric passenger transport vehicles in the industrial park.
