Andreichenko: Eurasian economic integration is not a goal in itself for Belarus

MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – The Eurasian economic integration is not a goal in itself for Belarus, Speaker of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko said at the closing meeting of the fourth session of the fifth convocation on 26 June, BelTA has learned.

“The signing of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty has become a historical milestone in strengthening of integration in the post-Soviet space. We were thoroughly preparing for this event, taking gradual steps towards, working hard within the Union State, the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. A great number of tasks should be addressed for a successful start of this promising geopolitical project, as integration is not a goal in itself,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
