Ananich: Pakistan shows big interest in Belarus at every level

ISLAMABAD, 29 May (BelTA) – Pakistan is showing a big interest in Belarus at every level, Information Minister of Belarus Liliya Ananich told media, BelTA has learned.

“These days Belarus and Pakistan are opening a new page in mutual relations. We see that Pakistan is showing a big interest in our country and the visit of the Belarusian head of state. The Pakistani media has been covering every event including the business forum, the visit of representatives of ministries, profile structures and businessmen,” the minister said.

Liliya Ananich also spoke about her meeting with Special Assistant to Pakistani Prime Minister (Federal Minister) Irfan Siddiqui. The parties discussed information cooperation. “Today Pakistan is interested in positive and creative information. The country is taking an interest in Europe and sees Belarus as an island of stability,” the minister noted.

“I think we should appreciate and promote it. A big, complex and beautiful world is opening to our country, with which Belarus has been building a powerful platform for further partnership and dialogue,” Liliya Ananich said. “Economy develops only if the countries and nations understand each other better,” she added.
