Ambassador: Sochi instructions of Belarusian, Russian presidents implemented

MOGILEV, 11 October (BelTA-TASS) – The instructions given by the Belarusian and Russian presidents in Sochi on 21 September have been fully implemented. Part of them will be documented at the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Mogilev, Ambassador of Russia to Belarus Mikhail Babich said on 11 October.

“All the instructions given by the heads of state have been implemented,” the head of the Russian diplomatic mission noted.

In particular, the food supply balance sheets were signed in Mogilev. “The balance sheets on oil products were concluded on 10 October,” Mikhail Babich said. When asked about the essence of these agreements, he said that “the presidents will provide all information about them”. At the same time Mikhail Babich confirmed that Belarus will continue to collect customs duties on 6 million tonnes of Russian oil products. “The relevant agreements remain in force,” the Russian ambassador said.

Mogilev is playing host to the 5th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia on 10-12 October. The Belarusian and Russian presidents have confirmed their participation. Plans are in place to sign bilateral cooperation agreements.
