Ambassador: Germany shares Belarus’ views on security in Europe

MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – Germany shares Belarus’ views on security and stability in Europe, Germany Ambassador to Belarus Manfred Huterer said during a meeting with Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko in Minsk on 9 October, BelTA has learned.

The ambassador recalled that the Minsk Dialogue Forum successfully concluded in the Belarusian capital the day before. “We share many views with Belarus on stability and security of Europe," Manfred Huterer said. According to the diplomat, Germany is grateful to Belarus for supporting peace in Europe. “Belarus has many proposals on how to reduce conflicts, de-escalate and build trust in Europe. This is very important," the ambassador said.

Manfred Huterer touched upon the issues related to political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. The relations have been developing rapidly and fruitfully, and this is encouraging, the diplomat said. Manfred Huterer stressed that his task as an ambassador is to maintain the momentum and strengthen it.
