Ambassador: Around 1,000 Indian students are studying at Belarusian universities

MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) - Approximately 1,000 Indian students are currently enrolled in higher education institutions across Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Ashok Kumar said during a press conference held at the National Press Center of Belarus to mark International Yoga Day, BelTA has learned.

“The number of Indian students pursuing higher education in your country is growing every year. At present, about 1,000 Indian students are studying at various universities in Belarus, most of them in medical ones,” the ambassador noted.

He stressed that he regularly communicates with Indian students, who are happy to study in Belarus and satisfied with the quality of education.

“It is important to note that Belarus offers education in English,” Ambassador Ashok Kumar emphasized.
