We would like to get the plaque installed near the Imatra waterfall which the poet visited in 1910 and to which he dedicated the famous poem “Over Іmatra”, she added.

According to Belarus Deputy Culture Minister Vasily Chernik, Yanka Kupala is one of the brightest and most talented poets who raised the Belarusian poetry to the world level.
