World Sailing lifts restrictions on Belarusian athletes

MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – The International Sailing Federation (World Sailing) has lifted all restrictions on Belarusian athletes, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Sports.

The decision was made during an online meeting of the World Sailing Council held on 9 June. The council voted to remove all previously imposed sanctions against Belarusian athletes, coaches and sailing officials.

This positive trend for Belarusian athletes can be seen in many sports that are now allowed to compete in international events.
