GRODNO, 10 July (BelTA) – The Grodno Oblast Executive Committee hosted a meeting of the organizing committee for the Batskava Bulka Festival, presided over by Governor Yuri Karayev, BelTA learned from the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.
On 15 August, Svisloch will once again transform into a true capital of bread. Visitors can look forward to a rich program. It will include a competition for amateur bakers called Matulin Karavai (Mama’s Bread), a sports and entertainment relay race named Batskava Milya (Dad’s Mile), and a spectacular tractor show. The festival will also feature a relaxation zone where guests can catch their breath and soak up the rural atmosphere, an area dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman, and a new venue in the municipal park devoted to the forest.
The organizers are preparing a diverse program of entertainment, games, thematic activities, and folk dance workshops. Guests will also be able to embark on the traditional guided excursion, titled “From Grain to Bread.” As is customary, a football match will be held between a team led by Grodno Oblast Governor Yuri Karayev and a team captained by Chairman of the Svisloch District Executive Committee Andrei Gritskevich. In the evening, festival guests will enjoy a concert headlined by the Strelki band.
Yuri Karayev instructed the organizers to ensure the comfort of guests, including considering the possibility of setting up a tent city and arranging convenient parking, with special attention to maintaining cleanliness throughout the festival grounds.
