Tokyo 2020: Belarusian wrestler Kurachkina proceeds to semifinal

TOKYO, 4 August (BelTA) – Belarusian wrestler Iryna Kurachkina has outpowered Russia’s Valeria Koblova in the Women's Freestyle 57kg 1/4 Final, BelTA has learned.

The two athletes were equally favored to win, but the native of Bobruisk ended up winning the bout outscoring her opponent 6-3.

The Belarusian will next face Evelina Georgieva Nikolova in the semifinal scheduled for 4 August.
