TIBO 2026 forum kicks off in Minsk

MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) - The international forum TIBO 2026 opened at Minsk Arena on 26 May, BelTA has learned.

The forum runs under the slogan ‘Artificial Intelligence as a driver of technological development’. The High Technologies and Digital Infrastructure Forum (HTDI), the international expo Transport and Logistics 2026, and the E-TRANS expo also opened on 26 May.

The events are united by one goal: to give impetus to innovation-driven development. The forum will host 20 business events bringing together representatives of the IT industry and experts in transport and logistics. Thematic sessions focus on legislative regulation in telecommunications, distribution and retail, intellectual property, data centers, big data and autonomous vehicles.

Companies from Belarus and Russia are showcasing their latest developments at the forum. Promising startups are also presented by residents of the Minsk City Technopark. “Today, many processes are moving online,” Director of the Technopark Vladimir Davidovich said. “Our companies are keeping pace with the trend. Nine resident companies have showcased up-to-date solutions at the forum.”

More than 20 leading transport and logistics companies, manufacturers of automotive and railway equipment, equipment suppliers and representatives of the financial sector from Belarus and Russia are taking part in the Transport and Logistics 2026 expo and the E-TRANS electric transport show.

One of the key areas is logistics digitalization. Director General of Beltamozhservice Company Dmitry Kovalenok noted that the priority is to simplify payments and expand electronic document management. According to him, digitalization opens up new opportunities and strengthens competitiveness, including in supplies to distant markets. “We are already delivering goods to Myanmar, Nicaragua, South Africa and East Asian countries. We are developing the Northern Sea Route and plan to scale it up in 2026,” he stressed.

The forum will run through 29 May.
