MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – The campaign #ThankYouDoctors has been launched in Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The project is being implemented by the BRSM Youth Union in cooperation with the Belarusian postal service Belpochta. It is meant to support Belarusian healthcare workers – doctors, paramedics, nurses, attendants, ambulance drivers – everyone who is on the frontline of the fight against the coronavirus, saving lives and taking care of the sick around the clock.

On 14 April, members of the BRSM sent more than a thousand postcards with best wishes for healthcare workers. Representatives of the BRSM delivered the postcards to Belpochta post offices.

“The BRSM together with Belpochta invites all Belarusians to join the campaign and express support and gratitude to any healthcare worker who is working almost round the clock to save lives of Belarusians. You can write a few words of encouragement on a postcard and the address of a healthcare facility with the hashtag #ThankYouDoctors and throw it in any mailbox. No stamp is needed as it is absolutely free to send a postcard within the framework of the campaign,” First Secretary of the BRSM Central Committee Dmitry Voronyuk said.

Participants of the campaign can use the designs of postcards available on the BRSM website or send handmade postcards.

Addresses of healthcare facilities are available on websites of the main healthcare authorities of the Belarusian regions and the city of Minsk.
