VITEBSK, 16 November (BelTA) – Svetlana Gorbacheva from Vitebsk has been chosen to represent Belarus at the 20^th beauty pageant Miss Tourism International, representatives of the Vitebsk Oblast Committee of the Belarusian national youth union BRSM told BelTA.

Svetlana Gorbacheva is an active BRSM member, a winner of the national and international grace and artistic skills contests Spring Queen 2015, the first vice miss of the international contest Beauty of the Commonwealth, a participant of the beauty pageant Miss Belarus 2016, and a special nomination winner Miss BRSM.BY.

The 20^th beauty pageant Miss Tourism International will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This year’s event is expected to gather 60 beautiful girls from all over the world. Svetlana Gorbacheva will leave for Malaysia on 20 November in order to prepare and rehearse for the contest. The winner will be announced on 6 December.

The beauty pageant Miss Tourism International has been organized every year since 1994. Representatives of over 80 countries have taken part in the beauty pageant since then. Apart from demonstrating girls at their best the contest also offers a platform for education, tourism development, and for sharing the best practices between countries.
