MINSK, 17 June (BelTA) – Around 15,000 tickets have been sold for events of the 29th edition of the International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Director General of the Vitebsk Culture Center, Director of the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk Gleb Lapitsky told journalists on 17 June, BelTA has learned.

“Tickets went on sale in February. Since then, we have sold around 15,000 tickets. Tickets are available on all our platforms, including in ticket offices,” Gleb Lapitsky said.

Belarus Culture Minister Yuri Bondar added that the organizers refunded only 70 tickets. “This proves that people look forward to the festival. They do not come to Vitebsk by chance,” he remarked.

This year, the budget of the festival is Br3.8 million, with 80% coming from proceeds of the festival, and the rest allocated by the Belarusian Culture Ministry for the organization of the song contest for young artists.

The 29th edition of the International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk will take place on 16-20 July.
