MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – An exhibition of Slutsk sashes from the Belarusian museums will be organized in Tallinn in 2016. This possibility was discussed during a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador Anatoly Stepus and Estonian Culture Minister Indrek Saar, BelTA has learned.

The parties discussed the prospects for joint activities in the field of culture in 2016, including the organization of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Estonia in Belarus, the establishment of cooperation between the largest museums, the organization of the Slutsk sashes exhibition in Tallinn, and the ways to bolster ties between the national minorities of the two countries.

The Belarusian Ambassador also met with Director of Kadriorg Art Museum Aleksandra Murre who confirmed the willingness to forge long-term relations with Belarus’ National Art Museum of and voiced the specific proposals for cooperation with the Belarusian side.
