Sabalenka wraps up 2020 at 10 in WTA

MINSK, 29 December (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus is finishing the year 2020 at number 10 in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

Aryna Sabalenka has won three tournaments in the recent WTA season. The Belarusian took ten victories in 39 matches. Former world number one Victoria Azarenka of Belarus is currently 13th. In 2020, following a more than four-year hiatus, she won a tournament and reached the finals twice, including at the US Open. The Belarusian also won the 2020 WTA Comeback Player of the Year title. Aliaksandra Sasnovich is 90th, Olga Govortsova is 133rd, and Vera Lapko is 293rd.
