Sabalenka moves to 11th spot in WTA

MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka moved up to the 11th place in the WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

Last week, prior to the Ostrava Open, Aryna Sabalenka was 12th. With the recent victory she moved one spot up with the total of 4,045 points. Other finalist of the tournament, Victoria Azarenka of Belarus, also moved one spot up to the 13th with 3,426 points. Aliaksandra Sasnovich currently goes 92nd with 798 points, Olga Govortsova - 129th with 570 points.

2. Simona Halep (Romania) – 7,255
3. Naomi Osaka (Japan) – 5,780 
4. Sofia Kenin (United States) – 5,760

Egor Gerasimov goes 83rd with 781 points in the ATP rankings. Ilya Ivashka, who won the tournament in Istanbul, goes 114th with 573 points.
