MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – The international travel and tourism exhibition Recuperation 2016 has opened in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

The expo will feature more than 150 exhibitors from Belarus, Russia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland, Georgia, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece and Serbia.

The program of the fair will comprise presentations of tourism attractions and destinations, roundtable sessions and seminars on the most important issues in the tourism sector. One seminar will highlight sales of summer bus tours and children recuperation programs. The expo will display tours around Belarus, excursions to Greece and Bulgaria, the Uzbek Airlines program from Minsk, and also tours to Montenegro, Georgia, Spain, Lithuania, Italy and other countries.

Apart from a wide range of travel, recuperation and health improvement proposals, the exhibition will showcase transport services, insurance, spa resorts, tourism clubs, hotels and many more.

Belarusian tourists will have a chance to choose “a country of their dreams” for overseas recuperation. “The expo will offer Belarus’ first “Map of Dreams” where every visitor will be able to mark the country (or the region) they would like to visit. We will learn the “country of dreams” for Belarusians and will be able to compare the wishes of our compatriots with the proposals of the tourism business,” the organizers of the exhibition said.

The expo will also display the information about little-known corners of the globe, couchsurfing services and budget-friendly tours for Belarusians preferring to travel independently.

Recuperation 2016 is held by the Belexpo National Exhibition Center in cooperation with the Belarusian Sport and Tourism Ministry.
