GOMEL, 26 October (BelTA) – An Ukrainian TV channel will soon start broadcasting in Belarus, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said when speaking at the 1st Forum of Regions of Ukraine and Belarus in Gomel on 26 October, BelTA has learned.

“We agreed that the launch of an Ukrainian TV channel in Belarus will happen soon,” the Ukrainian president said.

Petro Poroshenko also noted that the Belarusian TV channel sparks great interest in Ukraine. “I appreciate this because we get objective information,” he said.
