MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) – Representatives of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone joined the national cleanup day on 20 April, the industrial park administration press service told BelTA.

Taking part in the national cleanup day were top officials and specialists of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company as well as about 40 employees of CAMCE – the general contractor in charge of building the industrial park’s infrastructure and a number of other facilities in the park.

According to Kirill Koroteyev, First Deputy Director General of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, the industrial park’s employees take part in cleanup days every year. “For instance, a garden was planted in the park last year. We only did some beautification before that. Today we’ve planted over 300 birch trees along the reconstructed bed of the Usha River to make everything look like one green block from the road,” the official noted.

Kirill Koroteyev also added that industrial park employees take an active part in restoring forests. “In particular, in line with the general layout of the industrial park the vegetation ratio is close to 60%. We help accomplish the task. This autumn, during the next season fit for planting trees and shrubs we are going to plant them along our streets and avenues. We’ve already developed the design concept for greenery plantation in order for every prospect to express its own beautification philosophy. We are now placing orders for planting material,” the official said.
