MINSK, 27 September (BelTA) – Natalya Nikityuk of Belarus has become a world champion in skydiving sport, the press service of the Belarusian Aviation Sport Federation told BelTA.

The championship took place in the Skydive Chicago Center, USA. Complicated weather conditions certainly made the jumps difficult. However, the Belarusian athlete managed to demonstrate the best result in the precision landing event. China came second, with Russia landing third. Anna Bokovaya of Belarus came fourth in the precision landing event. The Belarusian team of Natalya Nikityuk, Natalya Zimina, Yulia Fedorova, Anna Bokovaya, and Khristina Gromik won bronze awards in the precision landing event.

After seven tours the Belarusian men team was third, but landed sixth in the end due to new weather conditions.
