MINSK, 3 September (BelTA) - For the first time since restrictions on Belarusian sports were lifted, Belarus will host an official world championship under the auspices of an international federation, BelTA learned from the NOC press service.
On 5 December, the Minsk Sports Palace will host the WDSF World Championship in Show Standard, one of the most spectacular and technically demanding disciplines. This global forum will be held as part of the Alliance Trophy 2026 international dance sport competition.
The hosting of this tournament signals Belarus’ return to the international sports agenda and reaffirms the high level of trust in Belarus as a host of world-class competitions.
