MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) – The IRONSTAR MINSK 2026 festival will be held in Minsk for the second time, BelTA has learned.
According to the organizers, the festival program features triathlon competitions over two distances, open-water swimming events, as well as men’s, women’s and children’s races. More than 2,000 participants from 9 countries are expected to take part in the festival.
“This is an amateur sports festival. Most participants have families, office jobs and other hobbies. Those who manage to incorporate triathlon into their lives overcome not only stress but also routine,” the organizers said.
Head of the Personnel Training Center of the Minsk City Executive Committee Internal Affairs Directorate, Police Lieutenant Colonel Konstantin Tereshkov noted that some of the directorate’s top officers will also participate in the festival. Two teams will compete in the triathlon events, including one that took part in last year’s festival and finished among the prize winners.
