The Weekend program will open with the Swiss-French stop motion animated comedy-drama film My Life as a Zucchini, shortlisted for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards and winning two Cesar awards for the Best Animated Film and the Best Adapted Screenplay. The film was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and won the Grand Prix of the Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
