Minsk to host first international medical forum in November
MINSK, 12 October (BelTA) – The First International Minsk Medical Forum will take place in the Belarusian capital on 5-6 November, BelTA learnt from Chairman of the Healthcare Committee under the Minsk City Hall Igor Yurkevich.Attending the forum will be leading scientists and doctors from Belarus, Russia, Lithuania and Canada. The event will include a number of workshops such as Surgery, Therapy, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dentistry, Infection Diseases and Epidemiology, Emergency Medicine.
Specialists will discuss new approaches to the prevention of circulatory illnesses, diabetes, achievements and development prospects of the pediatric service, organ transplantation in Belarus, modern approaches in training healthcare workforce. Counterparts from Russia will share their practices in implementing innovative technologies in the work of the medical service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, the activity of the emergency healthcare service in Moscow.
The program of the forum will also include the national science-to-practice conference with the foreign participation “10th School of Practical Cardiologist”, “School of Interventional Cardiology”, “School of Osteoporosis”.
