Minsk to host first festival of Moldavian wine in SeptemberCHISINAU, 17 August (BelTA) – The first festival of Moldavian wine will take place in Minsk on 30 September, Ambassador of Moldova to Belarus Victor Sorocean told the media after the meeting with Belarus’ Deputy Sports and Tourism Minister Mikhail Portnoi to discuss the development of tourism between the two states, BelTA has learned.

Belarus and Moldova have reached a lot in the cooperation in the sport sector. At the same time the states have just started developing cooperation in tourism. It was noted at the meeting that tourism plays a crucial cognitive role and acts as a guide for business.

Victor Sorocean noted that Belarus makes numerous proposals to develop cooperation in hospitality, including cultural, agrarian and production tourism, military and patriotic routes, environmental, healthcare, national and historical tourism. According to the Ambassador, the Belarusian experience is very interesting and thanks to tourism citizens of Moldova will get an opportunity to get familiar with the production, agriculture and life of Belarusians.

As BelTA earlier reported, on 27-29 September Minsk will play host to the international exhibition Tourbusiness 2017. The Embassy of Moldova to Belarus is ready to assist the participation of Moldavian travel agencies in it.
