Minsk named most popular destination for Russian families with children during autumn break

MINSK, 10 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital is leading among the cities most popular with Russian families with children during the autumn break, BelTA learned from the hotel search and reservation service RoomGuru.ru.

The list of ten most popular cities for trips with children during autumn holidays includes Minsk, Vilnius, Riga, Baku, Tallinn, Tbilisi, Prague, Budapest, Yerevan and Helsinki. Russian tourists will spend in Minsk an average of three days paying approximately RUB2,900 for accommodation per day.

Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, and Yekaterinburg will be the top five domestic tourism destinations for Russians.

The ranking was compiled based on the number of hotel reservations for families with children for the period from 29 October to 6 November 2016
