MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital of Minsk ranks among three most popular destinations for Russians at summer weekends, BelTA learned from the hotel reservation website RoomGuru.ru.

The top ten features Prague, Minsk, Baku, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius, Barcelona and Warsaw.

Minsk has been named the cheapest option for summer weekend trips in terms of accommodation with around RUB2,400 per day. London is the most expensive choice with over RUB10,000 per day.

The ranking was compiled based on the number of Saturday/Sunday night hotel reservations made by Russian tourists traveling independently from 1 June to 31 August 2016.
