MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital of Minsk is among the top three most popular destinations for Russians during the New Year holidays, BelTA learned from the online hotel search engine RoomGuru.ru.

The list of top ten cities included Prague, Tallinn, Minsk, Rome, Berlin, Riga, Vilnius, Paris, and Helsinki. According to RoomGuru.ru, the cheapest cities for trips during the New Year celebrations is Vilnius (less than RUB3,000 per day). Paris will be the most expensive city to visit during the time (over RUB8,000).

Among the most popular Russian cities are Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kazan.

The ranking was compiled based on the number of hotel reservations made from 31 December 2016 to 1 January 2017.
