Minsk in CNN’s list of Europe’s most beautiful cities without crowds of tourists

MINSK, 24 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian capital is featured in CNN’s pick of 20 most beautiful European cities without huge crowds of tourists. The article was posted on the website of the company.

CNN offers a selection of cities where travelers do not have “to battle through huge crowds of selfie stick-wielding tourists in the likes of Venice, Paris and Amsterdam.”

The article invites travelers to wander around the vast Independence Square before taking in the Museum of the Great Patriotic War History which looks at how Belarus overcame Nazi occupation. According to the article, “Minsk's bar scene is legendary” and tourists should try local beverages after a day's sightseeing.

The other cities included in the list are Antwerp (Belgium), Malmo (Sweden), Bern (Switzerland), the Hague (the Netherlands), Wroclaw (Poland), Tbilisi (Georgia), Ankara (Turkey) and some others.
